The Power of Science-Based Health Decisions: Why Evidence Matters More Than Ever

In today’s world, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by conflicting health information. As a physician and public health advocate, I believe it’s critical to rely on evidence-based decisions that keep our community safe and informed.

I am running for Marblehead Board of Health in part so that I can serve as a steady, science-driven voice in Marblehead, advocating for policies that are transparent and rooted in research. In the age of misinformation, especially regarding vaccines, it’s essential that we support proven public health measures that protect everyone in our town.

I am committed to promoting a culture where science and facts guide our decisions, especially when it comes to vaccination and other preventive health measures. The rise of vaccine hesitancy is concerning, and—for the safety of our entire population— it’s crucial that our community has access to clear, reliable health information.

I’ll work hard to ensure that Marblehead residents are confident in the public health guidance provided by the Health Department and that misinformation doesn’t undermine our shared efforts to stay safe and healthy.
