The Need for Compassionate, Collaborative Leadership on the Board of Health

Public health challenges are complex, and they require thoughtful, compassionate leadership.

As a family physician, I’ve spent years listening to my patients, understanding their concerns, and finding solutions that work for them. I want to bring that same empathetic, collaborative approach to the Marblehead Board of Health. It’s essential that the Board remains non-partisan and focused on serving all members of our community. Open communication is key, and I’ll work to ensure that decisions are made with the best interests of all Marblehead residents in mind.

I also recognize that effective public health requires collaboration. We don’t live in isolation—our health is interconnected with the health of our neighbors, and regional coordination is crucial. I’ll work with surrounding communities and health boards to ensure that we’re addressing shared health challenges effectively. By fostering cooperation, transparency, and a commitment to the well-being of every resident, we can create a stronger, healthier Marblehead for everyone.
