Meet Dr. Amanda Ritvo

  • Family Medicine Physician

  • Public Health Advocate

  • Marblehead Mom

I’ve spent over a decade caring for patients as a family doctor in Swampscott, from newborns to seniors. I’ve seen how access to primary care, vaccines, therapy, healthy food, and a strong community can truly change lives—and I want to bring that same focus to Marblehead.

Now, I’m ready to serve on the Board of Health to help make our town even healthier, safer, and more connected.

As a mom of two young children, I care deeply about Marblehead’s future. I’d be honored to use my medical and public health background to serve this amazing community.

My Priorities

Clear, Trustworthy Health Info

In a time of misinformation, I’ll be a steady, science-based voice to help our community stay informed and confident in public health.

Support For Families

I’m excited to work with Dr. Thomas Massaro on the CAHM Initiative in partnership with UMass to better understand our local needs and expand programs for families.

Stronger Mental Health Services

I fully support the Marblehead Counseling Center and want to strengthen its reach.

Protecting Our Kids

I support the Wait Until 8th Campaign and want to start conversations about delaying smartphone use and limiting phones in schools—helping kids grow up with less pressure and more presence.

Caring for Our Seniors

Our seniors are the heart of this community—keepers of wisdom, experience, and tradition. They deserve to age with dignity, care, and connection. I will work hard to maintain and expand access to healthcare, safe transportation, and meaningful social programs.

Please be in touch!

Thank you for your interest in my campaign. I’d be happy to answer any questions about my candidacy and would love to hear your thoughts on the state of public health in Marblehead.

If you’re able to host a lawn sign or hold a sign at an event, I’d be greatly appreciative.
